>would probably be spamming AI short films on his website if he was alive just a few more monthswould his inevitable AI feature length movie have been kino?
>advocate for ai. thats a simplification of his quote. he said ai is a great tool for creativity. the vast majority of people that use ai are not creative.
He probably would have used AI to make his films especially considering how good it looks now, because every studio including netflix kept rejecting his ideas over and over again.David Lynch got fucked over in the last few years of his life.
>>215115315>David Lynch got fucked over in the last few years of his life.netflix deal aside, he probably would've liked to see where AI is now since so much has changed since january (when he dieded)
>>215115153nobody gets this and it's why the net product of AI art is dookie dogshit
>>215115153This. Lynch was also an advocate for amateur digital filming, but I doubt that means he was sitting around watching tiktoks. A tool is just a tool, it's what you do with it that makes it artistic. And 99% of what people do with AI is slop.
>>215115153>>215114913lynch was shooting movies on digital when it was still taboo in hollywood to do it. simply because it was cheaper and the fact he had artistic control over the filmlynch would have loved ai
>>215114913Why do AI fags keep spamming this guy's quotes like film buffs has to take it seriously? I adore Lynch but I don't have to agree with all his opinions just because they validate someone's grift.
>>215115864Wew lad.
Do you guys think Lynch was a pedophile? People always say he was "one of the good ones" in Hollywood but idk, he seems like a creep.
>>215117320No, and I don't think he seems like a creep at all. He seemed incredibly kind and genuine, and everybody who worked with him loved him.
>>215117035to be fair, the cinematography in the return was worse than most tiktoks or whatever they're called
>>215117337Pretty much exactly how people describe everyone in Hollywood before allegations drop.
>>215117400Is it though? I don't think many people were saying that about Harvey Weinstein, Shia Labeouf, James Franco, Jared Leto...they were all pretty well known as creeps. There are some who are still defended like Woody Allen, but his allegations have been public for a long time. Lynch doesn't have any allegations, and nobody has had a bad word to say about him, quite the opposite. I think there are very few people in Hollywood who seem so beloved by the actors he worked with. Kyle Machlachlan, Naomi Watts, Laura Dern and others sing his praise at every opportunity, and you can see how much they loved him in behind the scenes footage. And I'm not some Hollywood glazer, I'll call out a creep when I see one, I just don't get that impression from Lynch. I think he was in touch with his shadow and was able to fully express that side of himself through his art which is why it could be so dark, but that outlet allowed him to be good and kind in his personal life. The worst thing he might have been involved with was some possible scammy stuff through transcendental meditation. But I doubt he was personally involved in any of that.
>>215117320Probably not but he was always unfaithful to his wives and obviously horny. He always wanted to see and film titties. Probably some of Leland's horniness is his own dark side of getting aroused from seeing his daughter growing up. Lefties think he is some crypto feminist philosopher emanating trauma with secret code language when he most likely was just a fetish artist. He got his kicks from filming girls being in trouble with titties hanging out. It's a good fetish. Melancholy and hard cock is a nice combo.
>defends ai and trannies >diesHe got what he deserved
>>215115153Correct, AI is just a tool. In the right hands, AI will make kino. But in the (((wrong))) hands, AI will make dogshit slop.
