How could you even make a good movie out of the hellraiser stuff? Cenobites are kind of boring, but all the movie stories that don't focus on them seem like television episodes.

With it building up to the cenobites as some cosmic demonic horror, which I feel is very popular right now with shit like Bring Her Back, Longlegs, etc.Or just make it straight noir and make it a Lovecraft style detective story.
