What kind of movies and shows did your parents forbid you from watching? My parents didn't care about sex, nudity, swearing whatsoever but they would strictly prohibit violence and horror.

Nothing over PG (I had to campaign hard to get them to let me see Jurassic Park when it came out but they eventually said yes), nothing about holidays, anything they thought was a "bad influence" (DuckTales got banned for being "too violent"). They genuinely believed if I watch Ghostbusters I'd get possessed. Then they divorced and I could watch whatever I wanted because neither paid any attention to me. Got very into slashers.
