Batman Forever for ever. I don't know if kids nowadays even feel anything watching shit as there is so much and they've been kidnapped to the three second pleasure loop since year one. Batman Forever was one of the most tragic movies for me as Edward just wanted a friend and a kind word.

We had a Top Gun VHS for as long as I was alive, I watched it so many fucking times.

Any mediocre movie you had on VHS is better than anything released in the last 15 years.
For me it's Turbo Man and Babe. Not the best movies from the years of their release. Better than any movie today.

rugrats vacation
orange video tape that came with that and I think episodes of Happy Days as well as a couple other rugrats episodes
I distinctly remember the entire opening to Happy Days before the episode as well as a commercial for Flipper for whatever reason
I think there was a commercial for Troll in Central Park as well but don't quote me on that the only one I remember for certain was Happy Days

Scooby doo and the cyber chase for me. While I still love zombie island, it always made me uneasy as a child due to the fact that the zombies were actually legit rather than dudes in masks. The delineation from the formula is so jarring, especially if you watch a big marathon of scooby doo content, zombie island sticks out so much (which I suppose is a draw for some).

It was certainly deliberate. It draws on old horror in various ways and introduced World Of Darkness tropes. It was billed as "this time the monsters are real" and that was pretty exciting pre-blair witch

so hilarious that you believe shit like this. i bet people that were your age back then said the same horseshit about the dogshit you liked. and the movie is called jingle all the way, you retarded old faggot.

I rode the roller coaster in that film. It was at a Six Flags for a few decades and it totally sucked. It was a standing roller coaster and every corkscrew would beat your ears against the safety harness, and every inversion would cram your testicles into some safety thing that went between your legs. Glad they replaced it.

my mom and stepdad once took out a middle seat from the van and hooked up a CRT with the gamecube and a VCR.
turns out the VCR did not like bumpy canadian highways but the gamecube handled it just fine.

My mom would record countless movies that played on TV on blank VHS tapes. She would pause on commercials then resume but often you'd get small snippets.

I can't describe how kino and special it felt. Like piracy before I knew what piracy was.

for me it wasn't a movie, it was Return of the Monster Trucks
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIgoOFB9Y2I

Looking back I think the 80s style of editing and sound/visual design was part of the reason I liked it so much beyond just monster trucks being the coolest thing to kid me.

This is the one that sticks out most to me. Researching it now it seems like it was a few Soviet stop-motion shorts knitted together and dubbed in english.

Hadn't you seen Jurassic park? Compared to Jurassic park it was generic slop with zero substance, like some day time tv flick.
