Anyone noticed zoomers love millennial movies, why is that?
>>
>>215146162
Because they don't make good movies anymore
>>
Nah they just want to live in the piss easy times that millennials lived in before they voluntarily fucked everything up
>>
Why wouldn't they? Good film doesn't age and the 90s were the peak of cinema
>>
I thought zoomers didnt have the attention span to watch movies?
>>
They're mad that social media and mentally ill adults fucked their childhood

There's an Arctic Monkeys poster right behind her

Fake nostalgia pics are so dishonest

For as much as zoomers whine about millennials being cringe and/or söy, depending on where you are in the internet, they do seem to be extremely fascinated with millennial youth culture. Probably not too much different from how millennials fetishized late 70s/80s childhoods; maybe they're in that range of similar enough to their own to be familiar, different enough to be intriguing, and due to not having lived it, attains a mythical status where they can focus on the good aspects and convince themselves that things would have been better for them has they lived it. As somebody born in the late 80s, I'm happy with my 90s and early 2000s youth, and also think it would've been cool to have grown up as a Gen Xer. That said, I also think it would have been neat to have born later, as there's some elements of zoomzoom childhoods which I find appealing, like the concept of there being a larger volume of teen girls with nerdy interests, as opposed to my youth, when finding a girl over the age of 9 who liked anime and videogames was much more of a rarity.
