For some reason no one mentions the "time travel" device is a fucking microwave and it all hinges on sending text messages to the future. the plots of some episodes are fights over who has a phone so they can send texts. its really fucking stupid. One of the main girls has down syndrome with the mentality of a child and she just goes around shouting DOO-DA-DOO and youre supposed to be taken aback at her innocense and cuteness when shes barely even a real character. Its actually kind of fucking stupid if you think about it longer than ten seconds but for some reason no one ever brings this stuff up when mentioning steins gate. Edge of Tomorrow has flaws but it has believable characters and interactions which is more than you can say for steins gate, which is like 60% a cliche anime sitcom.
