My brain remembers it watched it, and it liked it.
Me, I can't even tell what it's about.
There's some movies like that.
>>

wrong, I never asked for scifi with niggers in it, fuck off with your revisionist bullshit nigger
>>
more like niggerator
from the director of nigger one
>>
>>215148461
I saw it in cinema, solid 7/10 flick with nice visuals.
>>
Remember they used the Beirut explosion in the trailer lol idiots
>>
>>215148461
An Ace Combat movie might be possible after all.
>>
I liked it. Cool sci-fi flick

it did a lot with its budget in terms of scope, effects and making the tech look cool, but the "AI good, humans bad" shit was as predictable and stupid as always. the raid on the robot bunker was the best part and a movie about the commando team behind enemy lines is the movie they should've made instead of making another blockbuster vehicle for Denzel jr. also, picrel was perfectly cast as a futuristic general and they completely wasted him.
>>
>>215148461
Man this shit was awful.
>white people bad
>asian people good
>usa bad
>asian countries good
>muh child saviour or whatever
>robots need to sleep for some fucking reason
>charisma black hole for a lead
Wasted potential.

>>

>>215153430
the script was fine you uptight dipshits
>>
This was the first movie I ever saw in IMAX
>>
>art station the movie
>>
>>215153546
It most assuredly was not. This was the first movie I ever watched that was very obviously written by AI. Just like that "superman" turd the pedo lesbian shat out.
>>
>>215150452
it was a solid 3/10. it was like a car advert masquerading as a movie. not because it featured cars, but because it felt like a high budget imitation of a movie. I came close to walking out after 10 mins as it was so generic it was almost painful to sit through
>>
>we will build robots to do menial labour instead of humans
>we'll make them fully sentient, be able to sleep, smoke weed, goof off, and exactly the same strength as a regular human being
>>
>>215149321
>Here is that original sci-fi movie you wanted
It was actually pretty generic. The one original idea it had was the robots having spirituality and becoming monks. But they did nothing with it and went for generic military-messiah plot.

>>215153681
>we will build robots to do menial labour instead of humans
Even the anti-AI faction used robots of their own.
>>
>>215149321
This it's gonna be praised in a decade or two just like edge of tomorrow and oblivion and tron legacy which got lambasted and bombed
>>
>>215154054
>But they did nothing with it and went for generic military-messiah plot.
but they did nothing but rely and awesome tropes and made it all work flawlessy
do you people even hear how fuckin' gay dumb and botchy you sound???
>>
>>215154209
Tropes are fine in isolation, but when every character and every plot point is a trope, it's just boring. Also they didn't make it work flawlessly. Despite using tons of cliches and well tested story beats, the plot made little sense.

Gareth Edwards tried to write a generic "are robots le human" story that would have been tired and cliche 15 years ago, but the plot and themes are fumbled so badly that it's hard to tell if he even thinks non-Americans are human
>>
>>215152623
>>robots need to sleep for some fucking reason
It's a common theme in sci-fi robotics, a real AI has to dream.
>>
>>215148461
the most offensive thing about this movie is the ratio of the black bars. I wanted to see more of the cinematography but this retarded director said no.
>>
>>215155114
nah
you just aren't capable of enjoying art

> Climax & Resolution

Joshua sacrifices himself to destroy NOMAD, ensuring Alphie’s survival.

Alphie escapes, symbolizing hope for a future where humans and AI might coexist.

It's like 95% of the way there. Pass.

>dont worry no one is able to destroy nomad for some reason even though it's the most impractical thing

>let's do this covert operation with full gear where every single piece of equipment emits light during the night
>oh look, a suicide robot is running towards us, let's not use the rocket launcher
>lets kill the child by going straight towards a heavily fortified bridge equipped only with a pistol
>why do the americans use aks?
>oh, a bomb explodes in my face, somehow everything still remains in intact, including the hair
>five or so people not being able to take down a single civilian car even though they were shooting fully automatic at point blank range

It isn't though, later in the movie you see missiles going away from the blue light. It's just rule of cool taken to nonsensical levels.

dumbest script and worst editing in any sf movie i saw

felt AI generated, just general lack of scene to scene continuity

The film billed itself as apocalypse now meets star wars, I'm pretty sure I saw a review literally use that exact phrase.
The opening newsreel was really cool, the first chunk when they go on the mission is cool, and then....
Half of its just "man with foster kid" and a bunch of dead wife drama. Huge let down.
>>215150452
They should have 1 made them wear real uniforms when they go in the mission 2 focused more on the military side.
Overall the visuals were very good at certain points (slightly generic at others+they should have changed the robo aks more).
Also they should have addressed the fact that it's dumb as fuck that a computer program is treated as a kid simply cause that's its physical form
>>215152375
Yep
