28 Days Later until Frank dies > 28 Years Later = Intro of 28 Weeks Later > 28 Days Later after Frank dies = Rest of 28 Weeks later
a bit convoluted but seems on pointI do like the mansion bit though, it's better than I remembered it being
all the interesting shit in 28 years later is what's happening off the british isles. what do I give a fuck about infected rape babies when NATO's got a 30 year long blockade going on? that's more interesting than anything.
>>215160225>Smithers says, 'Women and seamen don't mix.' And Mr. Burns says, 'We all know what you think, Smithers.' And that was my favorite joke in 'The Simpsons.' See, that's what they're doing a few hundred miles away, across the channel, across the Atlantic. They're eating dinner, and they're watching the fucking Simpsons. They're sleeping in their beds, next to their wivesI'm shocked the people there didn't develop a culture dedicated towards hating the outside for abandoning them to hell for 30 years, it's not like they'd just forget. It would also reinforce the gay brexit allegory if they were more malicious and lynched soldiers or refugees off a boat
>>215159995Yeah, that’s spot on
>>215160380>I'm shocked the people there didn't develop a culture dedicated towards hating the outside for abandoning them to hell for 30 yearsthey probably do we just don't see any of that which is a missed opportunity in my eyes
>>215159995I like the third act of Days
>>215160413there's a very dumb version of it in the comics which seem to be tenuously canon, at one point they go through the countryside and everyone is the norf fc meme and are killing each other over sports teams while generally ignoring the infected
>>215159995>28 Weeks laterIs as terrible as RLMfaggots pretend the prequels are. The entire plot is based on stupidity and incompetence. Thats it. Thats all it is. "But what if stupid".
>>215161129>The entire plot is based on stupidity and incompetence. Thats it. Thats all it is. "But what if stupid".Congratulations for accurately characterizing the Jedi and Senate in the prequels.
>>215161162no.
I have to watch the 3 movies in order? What do you recommend?

28 years looks beyond retarded I shan't be watching
>>215162794Was it really filmed with an iphone?
>>215164307With attachments, so it'd replicate the look of the first film
>>215159995It sucks that Years has these glimmers of a great movie in it, but are then snuffed out. I thought the whole father-son thing, with the dad living vicariously through his son's glory, and the presence of the doctor, mysterious outsiders punishing people with the infection, NATO troops etc. would lead to a coming of age story where he realises that there's more to life that killing, drinking and living like the besieged and hunted, take his newly learned skill and strike out on a journey of self-discovery. Some of the shots in the movie were clearly inspired, and the whole memento mori aspect could have made a great turning point for his character in the second act. I don't think it's necessary to constantly reference Days, and I'm not asking for Cillian Murphy to turn back up, but even the most basic resolution to the plot would have been nice. Maybe finding someone from a settlement Jim started in the countryside, or rescuing a NATO sailor/pilot who actually reveals something about the whole France outbreak and the carrier who brought it across the channel. If they had gone down the coming of age story, being taught more modern and forward-thinking tactics by Jim and Hannah's grown child would have had some impact.
The next will be 28 decades later, or 29 years later?
