Christmas Crashout (2026): Despite being a successful magazine editor in NYC, Kristi Johnson has a nervous breakdown when she sees her high school boyfriend is getting married to her old rival. She returns to her hometown, intent on winning him back, but instead her two-week stay is marred by her heavy drinking, pill use, and unstable behavior with the locals. After she pulls a knife on the bride-to-be while crashing the rehearsal dinner, Kristi catches two charges and her family is shamed when the incident is reported in the local paper. Once released on bail, Kristi immediately leaves to return to NYC, but not before sleeping with her old sweetheart's father out of misguided revenge. Once she returns back to the city, she is fired and she spends the next 6 months locked away in her apartment developing a serious xanax addiction and gaining 80 lbs. When she sees her old sweetheart and his bride are 6 months pregnant, she slits her wrists in the bathtub, not being discovered until the money runs out on her checking account and an eviction notice is served, roughly around Christmas the next year.
