Satan is mentioned a handful of times in the Bible and, besides the flashback that is Revelation, is a very different character every time. He is also not ever identified as the talking snake in Genesis, that is a bit of folk religion that became mainstream later on, just like everything about satan that came out of Paradise Lost and the Divine Comedy.
"The Bible says you lose" is a retarded thing to say if you ever actually read the text. There are so many more interesting takes that DO have support in the actual scripture.
