Depends on your expectations. As a horror film it’s hard to take serious. Also there’s at least two characters I found were completely unnecessary. You also just have to turn your brain off at how illogical the detectives are. 20 something kids disappear and they do the most half assed investigation ever.

Its actually complete shit but its also unique, kind of like a fever dream movie, so i suppose it is worth a watch.I only watched it because some of the actors in it.When you watched it you would probably get to a point, like the last 10 or 15 mins of the movie and you will think you could have just watched that as everything else was padding BS nonsense.

It was okay overall, but the plot was way too dumb to take the movie as seriously as it wanted you to.>kids going in a straight line is a key plot point>100% of blame is on the teacher, nobody ever thinks to investigate the kid or his family>retard cop doesn't pounce on the chance to raid someone's house on an "anonymous welfare check"And every single thing about the witch herself including what happened to her was comical. Yes, Weapons is good because Jordan Peele didn’t direct it. He wanted to turn the family and the female teacher Black, while making the witch white. Knowing him, he would’ve made it another anti-white male, race-baiting movie, with 100% approval from submissive white critics on Rotten Tomatoes, sold as the 'movie of the decade,' and winning an Oscar just for being filled with Black characters and race-baiting, written by Jordan Peele or some ghostwriter for him. Thank goodness the movie didn’t end up in his hands and was actually enjoyable for real people, instead of becoming something horrible you’d have to pretend to like so you don’t look racist, showing insufferable submission to a Black director in some form of psychological social engineering manipulation to humiliate people.

I've been watching some modern horror films this year because I usually hate them and thus avoid them like the plague. This was one of the new ones I decided to watch and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was a competent film that manages to appeal to my taste for old school schlock. The ending is incredibly satisfying.

There are some things that fall apart if you think about it too much, but honestly I think the movie makes a point to leave some things mysterious. So thinking about it and trying to rationalize every part of the plot it is kind of a futile effort.Some parts really stick with you. Felt really bad for Alex, which makes the ending great.
