>>215200746i work at a stop & shop in NY as a seafood clerk - local 342 so we're different than the majority of the store as meat cutters - everyone else besides meat, seafood and deli is local 1500 - marty is in our store and he's basically harmless, he will beep and there with be a PA message if there's a mess but he's never made one himself - sometimes he wants to go behind the deli area but we just block him and he figures it out, happens like twice a year. he'll scan the shelves when the store is closed and the very early AM hours for empty spaces, it's supposed to be able to alter the CAO amounts so products can be auto ordered but it's honestly a big waste of 30k+ because we would just be better off with a few more part timers or another full timer or twothe kids LOVE marty though, they often buy the marty plush toys that come out every season with different styles and outfitsall the kids walk up to marty and hug him or wave and say "HI MARTY" as they go by, it's really cute and kinda makes up for him just getting in the way of trying to move about the storei'm thankful i'm in the meat cutter union, we don't have to do shit outsides our departs, 1500 gets bossed around by the company all day long
