WTF
Brutal walling
>TV pre netflix were able to shit out season every year pretty much>now it takes 3 years in betweenWhat's the actual explanation for this shit
>>215200151Brutal. That's how it ends when the semitic genes kick in.
Byler endgame or we riot
>>215200230Laziness.
>>215200230Those series cost more than movies and have movie quality cinematography and lightining but need 4x the scenes to film.
>>215200262There are more scenes but there aren't really more locations or more complex shoots in those scenes. It doesn't actually take 4x as long or even close. More like 1.5x.
>>215200151Wtf aren't they all in their 20s? Finn is already norwooding hard
>>215200262$60 million per episode doesn't even seem real when I read the article. What are they doing that is triple the budget of any other tv show?Seth Mcfarlane paid $8 million for a TED episode and they had to CGI a realistic toy for 30+ minutes.
>>215200327>22 years oldSeriously, wtf is going on here? This is not normal. That's already a Norwood 2, fast approaching 3
>>215200361There is absolutely no way it costs that much. A whole season, maybe.
>>215200389Anon some man start balding during highschool.
>>215200391ST4 cost 30 million per episode.
>>215200391The new season has a 600million budget.
>>215200430No, it didn't. See what I did there?
>>215200408Yes, someNot Hollywood actors that are supposed to be attractive on screenEvery other jew has a stylist that would have put him on fin/min or had a transplant years ago
>>215200151Now let's see Millie BB
>>215200391Could be some laudering or shady business by Netflix execs. Idk.
>>215200230A combination of super risk averse producers, and the fact that since Producers are no longer gods who can just own actors, Agents are now free to ship their stars to other projects inbetween.
>>215200468They can claim what they want, but I don't buy it. Much of the cost of a film is the actor salary, not actual nuts and bolts production. These kids are all under contracts. They are definitely using it to cover up other money moving around.
>>215200230Unironically unions and strikes.
>>215200151They got the fluoride stare now.Why don't they just remove Mike's gang from the show? Only 11, Joyce, and Hopper are good now.
>>215200230Not just that, but each season had 20-26 episodes. Nowadays it's 6-10 episodes.
>>215200151Americans are fucking hideous. The muttery just keeps stacking.
>>215200151Even the black sister is old now
>>215200151Fat dude who looks like Frank hassle had the best neotony.
>>21520070911 looks like a 45 year old mother now
>>215200462
>>215201155Meh, I don't really care. She's still a good character. I'm hoping she's still a good actor too but you never know. Some of these motherfuckers lose their talent like Haley Joel Osment. I don't think he's the same guy honestly.
>>215200327Because he shaved his head for a role it's already grown back since
>>215202552Looks like The Supreme Gentleman here
>>215201442Has anyone told her this isn't a good look?
>>215200151It doesn't look that bad in the show. Maybe their actors just look very different irl
>>215200230>What's the actual explanation for this shitWe (the consumers) allowed it. Plain and simple. We accepted it and, in the process, showrunners' egos swelled up and now they see themselves as movie directors. Along with that comes the arrogance and laziness that thinks they have no duty to viewers to create robust seasons at regular intervals. They think that's beneath them now. This will get worse. Six episode seasons are now starting to creep in, and no doubt we'll eventually get to about three episodes scattered half a decade apart. The only thing that will stop it is if people just refuse to accept it an tune out
>>215200389Insane jawline
>>215200262>Those series cost more than movies and have movie quality cinematography and lightining but need 4x the scenes to film. They also only have about a movie worth of story (and that's being generous) tortuously stretched across the season. The whole thing is tv showrunner, who failed to be movie directors, trying to still be movie directors.
>>215200151Remember the MSPaint caricatures of that fucking toothless monkey kid in the middle? Those were perfect. I never watched that show because even though I'm in my forties and the target demographic, I grew up and I think netflix is garbage. Never seen this shit.
>>215202661
>>215202552Ian Curtis movie? huh
>>215200230timeskips
>>215200556lol, schizos always thinking every production is some sinister money laundering operation.
>>215202640Looks good to me. I'm no Elsa Klensch, but the actress looks fuckable in the outfit there.
>>215200151Noah's looking like he's gonna host an extreme right wing podcast
>>215200151>Let's make a show about kids, with kid actors, set in, and relying heavily on, a very specific time period. Now, let's make five seasons and take a decade to do it so they all look 40 years old and we can't possibly pretend it's the 1980s anymore.
>>215200230Yea, it's kinda crazy how fucked TV is in the streaming era.Shows take 3 years to get 6-10 hour-long episodes, cartoons take 2-3 years to put out 20 11-minute episodes or 8 hour-long episodes that are ugly slideshows, anime is probably the one place where we still regularly get actual 24-episode seasons, but even that is much rarer than it used to be, and a lot of current anime is also made up of ugly slideshows.
>>215202818Sweating bullets, Shlomo?
>>215202850He's a zionist, so he's halfway there
>>215200230The newer generations just don't have the gusto
>>215202661Lucas doesn't look that bad despite the ridiculous hairdoWill has grown up to look fucking hideousDustin is morphing into Patton Oswalt wtfMike isn't that bad he can still pass as 14
