Up until that point Bojack was a Curb Larry David style character who the audience agrees with but is constantly misinterpreted by other characters and given ill-fortune in both a comedic and a dramatic sense. But since Millennials became infected with a misandrist mind virus they made Bojack into a villain. All of the momentum the show had built up had completely lost by turning their own protagonist into a rock bottom piece of shit for no reason.
