>final villain of the franchise is a random spic instead of fucking Henry CavillHow did they fuck up something so simple like this?
>>215291542Yeah he could have walked it off
>>215291542It was probably supposed to be Phillip Seymor Hoffman but he dead
Yeah Gabriel was fucking lame
>>215291596Yeah he could have walked off the truck to the face. He’s back. He’s only got one shoe. And he’s really mad about it
>>215291581>>215291663why are you so mad, spic?
>>215291542Rewatched the whole series from the beginning, MI2 made me realize Thandie Newton was cute and likeable once upon a time before she got so stuck up and "urban" if you know what I mean. Damn. Race relations back then were better than they are now. How did we go backwards? Anyway, it feels like Nyah could've taken Grace's role completely if she had stayed cool instead of turning into a bitter old race-card playing fishdog.

>>215291581I have such a thick skull that would have just bounced right off. It's hard to get immersed in movies when I'm built so much different.
Jim Phelps is back. He’s walked off the exploding helicopter that smushed him and he’s pissed
>>215291787That loud short guy that's in everything showed up as his son.
Kurt Hendricks has walked it off and he’s initiating revenge protocol
>>215291682She's so fucking hot in MI2. Oozing sex.
>>215291797Yeah, that really didn’t add anything, it was weird. I thought maybe they’d put him in charge at the end so technically Jim Phelps was running things, but nope. One brief conversation and it never came up again.
The final villain should have been brad pitt. Jesus christ these last two movies were awful.
Sean Ambrose has walked it off but he’s mad that he couldn’t play Wolverine because of this shit
>>215291798Why did he do it?
Jean Reno has walked off the helicopter explosion but the heat and the burns made him fat and he wants his goddamn knife back
>>215291542>>215291818I don't think the Ozark cartel guy was that bad of an actor but they really didn't know what to do with the Gabriel character. Total mess. He isn't even consistent between the two movies. In Dead Reckoning he's a cold stoic guy LARPing as a robot that can beat Ilsa in a fight and stay competitive with Ethan. In Final Reckoning he's a fucking goofball cackling, cracking dumb jokes and howling like a monkey. Also gets rekt easily in any physical confrontation. Makes no sense.
why were there women on the submarine that's literally not allowed
>>215291890I think he’s just different when he doesn’t have the entity telling him what he needs to do every step of the way, but he’s a very poorly handled character anyway, and the attempt to force a never previously mentioned backstory between him and Ethan to lend it some artificial weight felt very forced
>>215291915Gay submarines have their own rules mister
>>215291596It was never supposed to be anyone. These movies never had a cohesive unifying throughplot until the final 2 decided to wrap it up and retroactively pretend it all fit together somehow
>>215291915They were they/thems
>>215291890no, he was a pretty shit actor
>>215291929>first movie is all about him and ethan and some girlfriend and that was what made him join the imf>none of this is mentioned or expanded upon in the sequellol lmao even
>>215291542I didn't watch part 1 and I definitely missed a lot but I don't feel compelled to watch it now that I have seen part 2. Not because I know how things end but it just seemed like a weak installment in the franchise. If I saw part 1 I probably wouldn't have been interested in part 2. I still haven't seen it but I'm pretty sure there is nothing that could have happened to make me invested enough in part 2. I'm sad to see the series end like this. Hopefully Cruise can pick up something new for his production company. I bet he could do the Clive Cussler books justice, in hindsight everyone seems to love Sahara even though it wasn't popular at the time.
>>215292893He should do another mission impossible cause it can't end like this. Spielberg would probably love to do a MI movie.
