This movie wasn't terrible, but a love letter to L.A. from the POV of a rich quirky guy who can't figure out which blonde to bang is pretty trite. The magical elements were all so weightless it made you wonder why they bothered.
But if we remember that Steve Martin has made many pieces of retarded shit in his career, this one is at least worth watching ocne
