This movie only did well at the box office because people had been waiting for years for a new Star Wars. It’s like if the Avengers ended in 2019 and the next MCU movie didn’t come out until 2035, with nothing in between except some random cartoons that weren’t really relevant and hardly anyone watched. The last Star Wars movie came out around 2002 or 2004, and then the next one wasn’t until the end of 2015, so people were hoping it would be good. But after that, people lost interest in Star Wars. The following movies made less at the box office, and Star Wars only really got revived with The Mandalorian, before everyone got tired of Pedro Pascal (he’s in everything now).The Mandalorian worked because of the helmet, the good soundtrack, and the lighthearted, new missions in each episode. But even The Mandalorian started to fall apart by season three. Now, Star Wars is mostly just edits of Anakin on TikTok because people think he's cool. You also see boomers trying to push Andor, but no one’s really interested in all the politics and the drama. If people wanted that, they'd watch a movie with real people, not Star Wars.
