You’d be shocked just how many actors wore toupees and hair pieces. Constantly. Not just for work.William Shatner for example was wearing them as early as Star Trek TOSIt’s why his hair dramatically looked different as soon as that show ended. He went from getting bespoke high quality expensive ones given to him, to needing to pay for them himself. Hence the awful unnatural curly perm look of the 70’s and 80’sEventually this just led to hair transplants becoming a huge industry in Hollywood, shatner never did it though He had his legit hair on the twilight zone only a couple years earlier so he must have lost his hair quick
