Mexico bought the simpsons right to heir and played all the episodes daily about 2 decades ago. It was a huge cultural touchstone but the references even back then work on wordplay and pop culture that is in english and over a decade old. It's results in schizophrenic adlibs by the voice actors who.are given free reign. Like ghost stories but in Spanish and for network tv. It's sometimes borderline nonsense, like if a liza minelli visual gag appears, the voice actor of homer will just say a non sequitur.
