2camp4me.i can handle a bit of RTD zest, he's written outright gay programmes and they're good. but he doesn't rein it in any more, i don't think anyone (even the gay fans) were after All Singing! All Dancing! Doctor Who.and yeah, a lot of British telly has an American influence creeping in. he outright says in the commentaries that Disney requested a few (creative) changes here and there. it's not as one-way as "they're just funding the production."
