This movie has a huge plot holeNo Japanese would ever live in a place someone died in, especially not if there are haunting rumors and it has to be disclosed. So nobody should have ever lived there, and nobody should have ever gone there after the cleanup if the first family. The remake makes sense because they would lie to foreigners to sell the house.
