YouTube started giving me Sam Hyde content after I got into OneyPlays. And for whatever reason, I like hearing him talk. I think he's saying stuff he learned and he has no discernible taste (having called Korn his favorite rock band and generally never having seen or heard of the cool shit Charls brings up,) but that doesn't diminish the enjoyment I get from his content. I can't bring myself to buy a shirt and wear it in public because people who know about him will then realize things about me and $75 is a lot of bread to drop on a shirt you can't wear out to anything but an MDE-adjacent show. Part of what is endearing to me about him is how hard he wants to sell out. He practically begs for a crypto fascist right wing billionaire to buy his soul but it doesn't seem like anyone is offering.
