Hopefully in our lifetimes AI will be good and consistent enough to let small teams replace everything that goes into making a movie. Of course there will still be slop, but at least you’ll be able to sift through it and find the quality ones. Basically AI is the only hope for small and independent filmmakers to have the tools to compete with the quality of a big production. It will let filmmakers follow their passion and not have to rely on the big studios and submit to their demands to get their projects made.
