By the way there is NO scene where you see someone passing that info to Finn's team. somehow Al Pacino knows there are some runaway shuttles, but the film doesn't explain how,Ironically, if there is a spy, it wasn't Poe because he physically couldn't warn Finn as he was unconscious.

>>215480782Yes, but Al Pacino isn't a First Order spy. There wasn't a spy. Al Pacino is an unreliable person Finn hired for the convenience of Plot, who just was with Finn, and when they're captured by the drone, he reveals that Poe was planning an escape.THEN, ONLY THEN, Poe learns of the plan and is okay with it.In fact, if Holdo hadn't acted as a Girl Boss just to gratuitously antagonize Poe, there would have been no need to send Finn and Rose on a mission to the Supremacy. It's all Holdo's fault, no matter how you look at it.

Storyline spinning its wheels, refusing to do anything, explain anything in detail, only portraying a WAR in the most simplistic and abstract ways? Lack of sex appeal? Daisy Ridley being quite literally sterile and always frowning and being angry, screaming and making all those faces, beating people up? Direction being fucking trash, editing being in the shitter, resulting in poorly lit, rushed scenes with horrible time continuity? Just pick one. These were not well made movies in any one way. >>215483470>acting like a feral savageON POINT. One thing that has always struck me about Rey is that her character is a chaotic mix of destruction and compassion.Just look how she treats Luke. Just a few days ago, she saw Kylo Ren cold-bloodedly murder his father (and she herself was tortured), but then as soon as Kylo gives his side of the story, Rey immediately attacks Luke with a disproportionate reaction. Why the hell is she so compassionate with a school shooter and so aggressive with Luke? He ignores her, she beats him from behind. The moment Luke disarms her with the stick, she immediately reaches for her lightsaber.WTF girl?! The narrative is so flawed in that movie and it's all in Rey's favor. And then we have Yoda deliberately burning the Jedi Temple so Luke doesn't know that Rey secretly stole the Jedi books. Sure, sure, the moral is "freeing Luke from the burden," but it's all so morally flawed.

I would imagine there are some very requested characters, especially in the ever popular Mini Bust line, that fans would love to see. Names like Emperor Palpatine, Poe Dameron, Zorii Bliss, Babu Frik, Lando Calrissian, C-3PO and more. Can you speak on when we might see more characters from the final chapter in the 9-film Star Wars Saga?>CT: As I mentioned before, we are working on some, but I have to ask..are you SURE there is lots of demand for these “very” requested characters? The overall demand for busts and SW products is not what it was 10 or even 5 years ago. It's not just a GG issue either. The brand is VERY strong with The Mandalorian & The Clone Wars and more new content to come, but you all know what the production runs on collector products were in the past compared to now. We would very much love to make more products from the new movie. It’s not like we’re sitting behind our desk wringing our hands thinking how can we stick it to fans and not make busts they want that will make us money…right?? We just, as of yet, have not seen enough fans that would want to buy a bust have that personal affection for some of those new characters that makes sense to justify going to production, but for sure we’re watching it and perhaps as more time passes, fans affection for those characters will grow.

>>215486909Given the damage control from disney refused to give an inch over her, I doubt it.

>>215485394Absolutely. Frank Oz is a fucking genius and he has more talent in his right pinky finger than the entire production crew to the sequels.
>>2154859257 was just a giant commercial for part 8, nothing more.
>>215479594>plane's altitude in the last 15 seconds>2000 meters>1300 meters>1000 metersYea plane is really struggling

>>215485168Uh-oh, meltie!
>>215486906You didn't even read that article. Does Disney know you're also throwing around slurs a lot? I don't think they care for shills doing that
>>215486909Women in nuHollywood movies can't be flawed characters and bad leaders. They're Mary Sues. TLJ, ROS and the Acolyte killed Star Wars for their main audience - men.

>>215488110i really dont understand modern writers and how stupid they are. i'm willing to give them some leeway though, especially considering all the outside pandering and changes they get from the suits and propagandists, trying to weigh in. they dont respect writers no more, actually i'm wondering if they ever did.

>>215479578Admiral Ackbar will live on forever and be remembered fondly, while this shit movie will rot and wither and only be spoken of in utter contempt.
I never saw any of the new Star Wars and I feel like I’ve missed out on absolutely nothing. I’ve absorbed enough through osmosis to know that it’s just layer after layer of shit contrived canon generated by focus groups and Hollywood ilk. Yet it resonates with people (NPCs?) for some reason. It’s like modern day mythology for these dullards, they find it so compelling and identifiable.
>>215479578I think "it's a trap" is too much, just let the audience put it together. But good idea otherwise. You're hired, kid.

>>215479594>Yeah, the Star Wars franchise is really struggling.>no new movies since TRoS six years ago
>>215479594>Yeah, the Star Wars franchise is really struggling.300 million or more marketing budget. Equal or greater shooting cost. Merchandise underperforms so badly it literally puts Toys-R-Us out of business and nearly kills Hasbro.George took a decade with Shadows of the Empire and the Specialized Editions of the OT to set up The Prequels. They didn't even make half the expected returned going off of them.

>>215488659Whatever your thoughts on them, he’s absolutely not in director jail as claimed
>>215479578The better idea...Leia and Mon Mothma, played by Debbie Reynolds, are the last two on the ship. Only way to save is the ram maneuver which she recalls Han telling her about. They each hit the acceleration lever, she sees Han, but as a real ghost smiling at her, her last word..."hope".
>>215479594>Most hyped franchise of all time is losing hypeYeah it's dire
>>215479722This happens with every trilogy. The prequels also had a major fall off after being one of the first movies ever to hit a billion dollars
>>215479555Imagine being the lone competent white man in the writer's room who always ends up doing all the work, and one of the purple-haired girlbosses says, hey, what if we added a purple-haired girlboss, wouldn't audiences love it? and having to sit there and say, yes, brilliant, that sounds great, knowing that it isn't, and that audiences will hate it in Star Wars as much as they do in real life, and trying to quickly think of a way to get this across in the meeting without losing your job, knowing that the franchise is doomed otherwise

>>215479555i never watched star wars i only know her as diane in twin peaks
>>215480537Payola conduit, reward for upsetting the chudsBut they're still TV movies
>>215486909It just seems that way because it was a character written by women. A woman did her absolute best to write a great leader, and this is what she came up with. The problem is that women confuse good leadership with being an obnoxious bossy cunt who never justifies her decisions to anybody or asks anyone else for input, then ends up literally crashing and burning in the end.To women, Holdo is an amazing leader but their idea of leadership is utterly retarded.
>>215479594The fact they haven't released a Star Wars movie since RoS and cancelled like 20 planned projects tells you all you need to know. Disney greatly overprojected how much value they would get out of the IP.
>>215485146>bro you only made 1 billion lmao what a loserhave sex, incel
>>215492039Knives Out wasn’t and the sequels only wound up being made by Netflix because they bid $450 million for the rights
>>215492142What woman? The film was written by a man
>>215492001You don’t know her from Jurassic Park or Blue Velvet or Wild at Heart?
Have they made back the money they paid Lucas yet?
>>215492324Solo bombing was when they absolutely panicked. All the hype was gone by that point, and they switched to Disney+ in an attempt to hide how little people cared about their new crap. The list of cancelled films is absolutely hilarious. Ryan Gosling and the Snood movie will likely never see the light of day (and that's a good thing)
>>215492564Not if you count money lost on Disney+ and the hotel. But it was never about the money, was it?
based. star wars is for delusional redit chuds anyway
>>215484018>merchandiseYou mean the billions of toys nobody wanted and how it killed toyrus ?
>>215480198someone should've told JJ that before he ripped off ANH's plot and brought back all the OT characters as geriatrics
This movie should've killed careers, most notably Rian Johnson, for example. The fact some people would consider this a masterpiece tells me there is something fundamentally wrong with our culture and species.
>>215492324>Disney greatly overprojected how much value they would get out of the IPThey didn't overvalue it. They could have gotten 20 billion out of it. Why didn't they? They gave it to man-hating, nerd-hating, starwars-hating buffoons to just make up any random shit story on the fly. They figured they can insult the entire original fanbase and drive it away then a brand new amazing female/tranny fanbase would appear magically and buy all their merch and see all their films. It's the bungle of the century and was completely avoidable. They could have given star wars to someone like Peter Jackson to make three movies with a solid, pre-planned coherent story and he'd have knocked it out of the park
The thing about this is that there wasn't really a good reason not to tell Poe the plan, on the flipside after Poe committed mutiny which resulted in the deaths of many people he should have been court-martialed and executed.
>>215493171The fact that none of this Nu Wars trash was nominated for Razzies says a lot about how deep the corruption goes.
