Do you anons think that any celebs ever lurk here?
I don't know about /tv/, but taylor swift used to logpost on /b/
>>215481881Trevor Moore did, i wonder if some of the zoomerettes we simp over do too, Sophie Thatcher,Qualley, Rice etc.
>>215481881Ben assfeckFreddy prinze jrShatnerTaylore swiftand now trevor (used to) >>215483455These are all the ones I can guarantee. There was that kid from night in the museum that posted recently but he is not a celeb
>>215483707>Ben assfeck>Freddy prinze jr>Shatnerqrds? i know the swift lore but not these three
>>215481881Oh yeah. Don't need to make an account. Can have actual conversations sometimes. And say "whatever" you want. It'd be silly to assume otherwise.
>>215483455>RiceRice?
Tom Hardy posted here anonymously during the height of Baneposting and he got mad that his "I'm an actor, AMA" threads kept getting pruned (he didn't realize that people had been making fake actor AMA threads for the last week). Matt Smith made a similar thread until people were able to figure out clues from his hotel room OP picture then he disappeared once it boiled down to either him or Cumberbatch.
>>215483735Assfleck posted heere once, there is a screencap of images of him in a thread, of course once means more than once.Shatner, well he posted on twitter he lurks on some boardsFreddy prinze was in a thread similar to this and we deduced it was him, plus he got a bit salty when we told him we all fapped to his wife in the 90s
I want to imagine that celebs shitpost a lot since they are always on their best behaviour in public that must be frustrating
David Harbour was recently confirmed to be a user
>>215481881No. 4chan hasn't been cool or relevant since 2012.
>>215483939Of course, like this anon said>>2154837374chan is one of the most obvious places on the clear net where you can engage with others, occasionally talk about shit but not have to doxx yourself.Sure there are forums, reddit etc and you can make soc accounts but its not the same as being able to just randomly shitpost or create a thread and talk about something.Even if 90% of the threads created here are from cancerous discord and sharty trannys
>>215483970caring about relevancy is gay
>>215483934>we all fapped to his wife in the 90sWell he should know, he married her in her prime.
>>215481881Yes.Several people involved in the industry do. It's one of the last places that talks about hollywood freely without overt moderation and suppression. But the botposting and shills have really ramped up these last few years, and ai is only going to make that worse.
>>215481881Katherine McNamara has basically confirmed that she comes on /tv/ to talk about how much she hates working with black people and how common it is in the industry.
>>215484085Qrd?
>>215484061if ai and bots could beat captchas the entire board would be unusable with spamliteral spam, not "a movie i dont like is being posted about spam"there's no handshake agreement that bots and spammers would only spam the board with plausibly real contentif there is a way to spam a board with spam, spammers will do it to make a dollar
>>215481881Jake Gylenhall posted here once. It was a great thread.
>>215484085had to google her>is an American actress and singer. She portrayed Clary Fray on the 2016–2019 supernatural drama series Shadowhunters
>>215484558>be ginger in hollywood>hate niggers in hollywoodHmmmm...
Martin Shkreli popped into a thread about himself on here after I dm’d him about it. He was live-streaming at the time, and just started calling people in the thread idiots.
>>215484113I was this board's janny when wikispammer started hitting the boards and it wasn't long before moot realized Google recaptcha was useless because people were literally paying actual jeets to solve them in bulk since they weren't tied to session or IP address, and we started creating our own because everyone else's were defeatable with basic image recognition. And even then with the first generation of 4chan captcha, coders managed to train AI models, compile the tensors down to JavaScript and v make solver extensions that even worked with the slider captchas. It took the new breed of patterning and also the sliders including verbal instructions to break that.
>>215484700I didn't know who that is >Martin Shkreli is an American investor and businessman. Shkreli is the co-founder of the hedge funds Elea Capital, MSMB Capital Management, and MSMB Healthcare, the co-founder and formerwhy would he care
>>215484722Imagine admitting to being a janny.>CAPTCHA URF4G
>>215484755Because he was in the running to buy this place and offering far more cash than HiroHe was also jacking up the cost of lifesaving medications simply because he could when it was unlikely insurance companies could cover them
>>215484878is he of the tribe?
>>215484755>why would he careBecause he's a terminally online loser like you or anyone else here.
>>215481881she's the literal "cashier at mcdonald's" meme
>>215484722>he did it for freeI respect spammers more than you. At least they get paid to be cancerous faggots.
>>215483952lel
>>215484850My outgoing predecessor told me to nip Baneposting in the bud and I ignored him and let it run rampant because1. It was fucking hilarious2. It slid all the cunny threads off the board faster than I could delete them I mean, what possible harm could a meme on a symbionese pottery forum do, right
>>215484113>if there is a way to spam a board with spam, spammers will do it to stifle discussion and push propagandaftfy
>>215484965I would break my lifetime fast food ban if Rachel McAdams fed me some of their french fries. We could sit and watch new movies while sharing a 10 piece McNugget.
>>215484963at least I'm not a millionaire and a jew, so I've got this going for me which is nice
>>215485018No son, we're talking ads for stuffed pandas with AI generated images; the JIDF, CCP and Putin wouldn't have a chance
>>215485012>he let the most inorganic board destroying forced meme flourish so it could kill actual board cultureJannies are always trannies
Probably more than we think. That profession attracts the type of person that cares too much about what others say about them. Specially once they start to make it. Just imagine someone tells you:>Hey they're talking A LOT about you on this website where everyone is 100% honest with what they think and feel, and they give 0 fucks about how others take it or respondOf course they're going to be tempted to look. They're around ass kissers all day long (in person and online). I can only imagine. Altough it might suck with some of the stuff we say, it's probably also refreshing to have people be genuine without ulterior motives for a change. We have something they can never really get back and is a basic human need. I mean no wonder a lot of these people end up depressed, alone and miserable despite achieving what society deems as a form of success.
>>215481881I caught kstew in one of the /b/ celeb threads like 15 years ago. It’s a long story but it was about 6 moths before the fappening leaks and she was posting pictures of herself with a black puppy but were cropped so you couldn’t see her face and this was before she got tatted up. She was just shooting the shit with us and asking things like “what is your favorite Kristen Stewart movie?” eventually I said I thought she had big ears and she got really offended. I didn’t realize it was actually her until after the leaks and some of the pictures were her with the puppy uncropped.
>>215485137>lot of these people end up depressed, alone and miserableThat's what happens when you literally sell your soul to Satanists.
>>215484969We weren't here to be respectable, we were here to delete unrelated content and report rule violations. The entire reason I got fired was because /a/ and /jp/'s jannies cried when trolls made popular threads, deleted them then posted complaints that "the jannies" were purging their threads that everyone believed. mootard's typically Gordian response was to put a really short timer on deleting ANY post, globally, without telling the rest of us. I told him that was stupid and he kicked me for arguing with him where others could see it.
>>215485157kek you did well anon, dykes get the rope too
Paul Dano used to ya: until we figured it out!
>>215485280She's bisexual. Not a dyke.
>>215485126>actual board cultureIn 2012 this board's only culture was reposting the same 35 "who was in the wrong"/"why didn't he just shake his hand"/bellatap 18th birthday countdown/"times you were the driver"/"daddy you're home"/(insert bait argument about Middle Earth) OPs/green oval general threads. This was a cesspit no other janitor wanted, I volunteered because I was already doing another board. I had to rewrite the janitor extension to include power tools to keep this place from self destructing, like being able to check a post derailing a thread then recursively deleting it and all its replies. /tv/ has not improved since then. Stay mad.
>>215481881sure, what of it?
>>215485361thank you for your service anon, you were one of the good ones
>>215485295Shut up Kristen. And wash your hair.
>>215485361>WHY WON"T THOSE PESKY ANONS POST THE WAY I WANT THEM TO POST>THE BOARD CULTURE IS WHAT I WANT IT TO BE>REEEEEEEEEEEE BING DONG BANNUJannies=Trannies. Every. Single. Time.
jannie’s mess up often but they are needed and only retarda think they’d still get to have their precious 4chan if there were no jannie’smy only gripe is that when I get a ban for replying to an “off topic” thread, I’m often clueless about what it was The pol threads are obvious though and yeah sometimes I forget to not engage with them so that’s my bad
Dane Dehaan did an AMA here, dipped when people found it was him based on some of the answers he gavewonder if you're still lurking here dane?isn't that the question of the day?
>>215485496I remember that.
Of course not.By the way, don't you think that handsome, talented actor, Alec Baldwin, is getting a raw deal due to that shooting which 100% not his fault?
>>215485440>THE WAY I WANT THEM TO POSTThe way moot wanted us to post. His boilerplate letter to us was that we were supposed to be extensions of him. He fucking hated this board but his religious belief in containment boards kept it here. >THE BOARD CULTURE IS WHAT I WANT IT TO BEI had almost no opinion on that except that brainlessly repeating each other's OPs when the was a 75% chance OP hadn't even seen the film/show was content asking to be deleted. If that's what you live for, fuck you because no other board considers that 'culture.'>BANNUI don't know about now but in 2011 moot onboarded a ton of us without bothering to mention we were supposed to mainly delete not ban report everything (making the mods' queues enormous). I actually deleted far more than I reported. The idea that a board shouldn't need a janitor is based around the regulars shaming shitposters off it themselves. Except here, the shitposters run the board, the way they do on /b/. And just to put that into perspective, the last janitor /b/ ever had is RapeApe who is the site admin now.
>>215485463>when I get a ban for replying to an “off topic” thread, I’m often clueless about what it wasBan pages used to consistently link your post and it's fucking cowardly to have any exception to that that isn't illegal content. I doubt this was a choice, it's more likely shit coding.
>>215484755are there lots of newfags on tv now? lots of “qrd” asking. i don’t mind newfags unlike most but just noticing.
pretty sure Warwick Davis lurks here
Do e-celebs count? Many youtubers and twitch fags lurk here
>>215485920no they don’tthey really don’t count
suprised you gooners haven't mentioned Jenna
>wake up>log in on 4chan>make post on tv>Natalie Portman herself calls you a faggotO-oh
>>215481881everyone is on x.com now. 4chan is utterly irrelevant.
>>215483455FRiP
>>215481881Fungus-Larson/tv/ broke her mind
I'm sure several real celebs have been here and read stuff for laughs, and thought "damn this place is toxic", and never came back.
>>215481881definitely Sydney Sweeney.
>>215484878>when it was unlikely insurance companies could cover themit was the opposite actually, he did when they could cover them so really it was just him exploiting the system to rob insurance companies. They didn't like this so big news companies made him into a villain>>215484926Albanian
>>215484558100% wife material
>>215484113>if ai and bots could beat captchasfucking newfag
>>215485361>/tv/ has not improved since thenIt is still a spammy fucking shithole.Tranny spamsharty and discord tranny spam"respons without being mad" spambaskin tranny spamIts fucking GAY
>>215487354oh my god i want eat her asshole and smell her feet.
yeah. and a huge chunk of them are retards by my interactions with them. but that's because I have to actually interact with people that are actually smart on a day to day basis.
>>215481881I post on /tv/ sometimes and am a celeb but none of you will ever know who I am :)
>>215488826>am a celeb >none of you will ever know who I amnot sure you know what the word 'celeb' means
>>215488960Cool reading comprehension, bub.
>>215484700>>215484755Backpfeifengesicht. A German word that means “a face in need of a fist.”
