I watched a 30s heist film called Jewel Robbery. It's actually really good, but the weird thing is that it's basically a stoner comedy. Every time I eat or smoke weed I'm surprised by how strong it is. One 10mg edible and it'll have full auditory hallucinations at the crescendo, sometimes even visuals, and just more general mindbending than I want. No idea how stoners smoke weed and go to work or a party or whatever. I'm out hard. Maybe I'm a hyperresponder or a pussy or something. But it's actually strong stuff and I kind of wish it were equivalent to alcohol but it isn't.

Reefer Madness is pretty batshit and an incredibly powerful piece of anti-cannabis propaganda. I've been buying a bunch of these exploitation movies on Blu-ray recently as they go on sale/clearance. It's neat to see the kind of stuff that came out before the censorship codes or how they tried to skirt around censors, like in the Nudist films they got away with nudity because they labeled the films as educational about nudism. Documentaries and educational films could get away with violence and nudity through the loophole. So eventually some creative people would take old pre code nudist films that fell into public domain and then they would get some modern actresses to to do a few nude scenes and they'd splice it together with a narrated dub.

When I'm ultra-baked on edibles and I go in the bathroom and turn on the heater my brain starts making repeating little ditties.
