Mike Flanagan's CARRIE has wrapped production

Why are they doing a series on Carrie! Let me guess, it’ll be just like cancelled early 2000s series. Carrie fakes her death and goes all The Fugitive looking for others who have The Shining

it's Mike Flanagan. so now Carrie will have siblings and they'll all have to support each other as their abilities, though maybe one of them is a complete dick about it, and it'll be mostly about intergenerational trauma

There was already a remake.

There will also be a bunch of extremely hamfisted monologues
>“Chief, there’s vampires on the loose in town, we have to do something.”
>“When I was a boy, after 9/11…”

Uh, you’re probably right. That said 2000s remake thst was suppose to be a series wasn’t bad

We'd be lucky if it was even half as interesting an idea as the failed 2000's series pitch. Most likely it's just the original story with no substance added but inexplicably stretched across eight hours.
