How many movies have you watched in total? I'm at 2185 and not sure if that's considered a low amount
>>215491513idk, a toni dont count them
I started counting some of them in 2011 and then I started counting all of them in 2019 and my total is 985. Real number would probably be around 1200 and Im in my mid 30s so definitely mediocre numbers. I want to try and break the world record thats currently watching 501 movies in 501 days
>>215491513I don't know, who keeps track?
>>215491557>I want to try and break the world record thats currently watching 501 movies in 501 daysdon't get cocky anon, only true blue movie buffs should attempt a feat like this. are you sure you have what it takes?
>>215491513Hiding short films I'm at 3449 according to Letterboxd. It really depends what you're choosing to watch, though. If you're not branching out, just passively consuming slop, you're not going far. My brother has seen at least twice as many as I have, but has largely avoided foreign films, films from the silent era, a lot of older classics. He mostly seems to watch forgettable '90s/2000s schlock that even cable TV wouldn't play. Last time I saw him he'd gained at least 50 lbs and looks really mentally unwell. I'm pretty worried about him, but checking his LB and seeing him log 5 piece of shit films per day fills me with inexplicable rage. Just seems like such a waste.
>>215491579hate foreign films me, subtitle muck
its funny that we have two on cinema references in this thread because this post feels on cinema-esque >>215491579
i watched around 400 movies a year (a lot were just background noise)2023 was less than 1002024 was less than 502025 has been less than 20the sloppinging is evident
I suppose so
I've seen every hollywood movie ever made.
>>215491635Is that coochie chizzle?
>>215491513Depends how old you are I guess
I'm probably close to 2k, age 30. I watch a lot of classics but every random night or so I'll put on some slop in the background so I cover alot of ground but I'm proud to say I haven't watched a capeshit since avengers 2 outside of flash
>>215492135post your top 4
>4800>38 years old
Not a damn clue. Started watching movies 30+ years ago and we didn't have trakt accounts.>>215492222Checked
200-ish. I only started watching actively about 2 years ago.
>>215492197Probably not very interesting I'm afraid
>>215491513Probably around 180ish
>>215491513dunno many thousands
age 30 probably around 1300
>>215491513I'm at 2,555 but that also includes maybe 100 or so documentaries. Only in the last 5 years have I really started cranking up my movie watching in my older age.
I’ve watched 1,547 as I have on my movie log, only problem is 99% of them are porno movies and the 1% are documentaries on the dangers of jorkin yo shi
On my movie log, I’ve watched 1,390 movies so far from 2020 to now. Only problem is, most of them are porno movies.I love jorkin my shi
>>215491513there's only like 20 good movies, how do you even watch two thousand movies

2900+ movies. Double that if you count pornos
>>215491513>2185This year?
>>215491513I used to have a schedule when I was young and hopeful>1999-2002.>2 films from video shop twice a week>2 trips to cinema>2 videos for £10 from Woolworths on SaturdayThen I tried adulting and films became something I could squeeze in once or twice a week.
I don't know how much in total but this year I've been trying to get deeper into movies so I've seen 220+. Before this I would mostly listen to music every day. I've listened to over 6000 albums.
>>215491513I'm at 2140, age 41. A pretty normal amount for someone who is reasonably interested in movies. A high amount for a normie who just watches movies casually.
I'm not even at 500 and I'm thinking of calling it quits already, how do you autists do it? I don't even bother with fart sniffing french stuff too, mainly US movies I feel I'm going to like based on poster art / decade / genre / creative team

On LB, I am just under 1000. I have probably watched more, but just don't remember them.
