Ive never been a fan of interracial relationships, but I don't know why Lucy and David just work. It feels natural, not forced or fetishized. Maybe it's because it isn't built around the usual BMWF propaganda. In that instance, I don't think the pairing of David and Lucy would have been aesthetically pleasant if the genders were reversed, because the Asian race is feminine coded but in overall it looks and feels nice. Im in film school, if I ever succeed i will portray LMAF at least once.
