If you ever get a chance to look at a lot of movie costumes in person at a museum display, look really closely; you'll find they're kind of shit most of the time. They are designed to look good on camera for specific shots, that's it. Much of the time, they can't even move well in them and need other specific costumes for other shots just to be able to physically do a required movement. E.G. if you don't see the back of a costume; guaranteed it's not complete back there. Don't see the character sit down in a shot? Probably can't bend that much. Sitting down in the next scene? Probably doesn't even have pants on lmao.
