I hate movies and tv that are so family oriented. Family sitcoms are so popular, doing something as a family. Look at us, we're a family. I hate that shit.
Even in some more mature horror movies there's still this tinge of hope, that everything will be okay in the end

I like movies where everyone dies. Nobody survives. The threat is just too great, and although they fight till the last breath, it is simply hopeless.

What are some movies like this? The only movie I can think of that satisfies this for me is The Mist. That ending is so well done lol.

it's too early/late to think about this, but off the top of my head 'dawn of the dead' and 'When the Wind Blows' comes to mind. Or perhaps 'The Thing' or 'Black Mountainside' if a party wipe is your only stipulation.
