>>215502327Yes, and I took detailed notes while reading. Like the other anon said, they're honestly not great, but they have a few charms. The worst story arc is also chronologically the earliest: "Adapt or Die" is a dopey little story ten years before the events of the first film, where Grace and Mo'at work together to solve a poisoning problem. The artwork is quite bad in a few spots, and the story is likewise nearly incoherent in places. My personal favorite is "Tsu'Tey's Path" because it closely follows the original film (my favorite), it makes Tsu'Tey more sympathetic, and it has a happy ending when Tsu'Tey dies, he is reunited with Sylwanin, the one he really wanted to begin with. High Ground has some nice expressionistic artwork on some pages in the back half.
Definitely some COVID fuckery going on with the avatar 2 box office numbers. I still haven't met a single person that saw it. Millions of dead registered voters went to see it on opening day.
