Stop basing the plot on the week's news

Retcon everything after season 13, then continue the series with a time skip that puts the boys in the 6th grade. Go back to unique episode plots that isn't just what's in the news. I wouldn't abandon social commentary entirely but I would probably only cover the most popular topics from the year prior (that are most likely to have staying power in pop culture references) instead of doing flavor of the month shit that has virtually no rewatch value.
