>>215504703It’s tough to answer, because I just saw Vanilla Sky for the first time and I haven’t seen Eternal Sunshine in many years. I remember I loved the latter, but the former blew me away. They really made Penelope Cruz irresistible. I’d say it’s the closest I’ve ever come to falling in love with a fictional character. Every bit of banter between them is excellent. And when she returns after disappearing for a while, you feel this tremendous sense of relief. They really stuck the landing with the ending, too. That whole elevator scene is fantastic.
