Season 2 was the same level of disappointment as Westworld season 2. Except where Westworld went with a walking dead approach, severance went for boring establishing shots, minutes of silence, dialogue that went no where, and revelations with no impact. The episode where whatsername went to her old town and was secretly a genius that helped create severance was the worst.

the weirdest tonal shift in season 2 was mark suddenly being a godlike figure in lumon's lore and an integral part of their plan. so bizarre. there were no hints to that in the first season, he seemed like collateral.

Season 2 was so incredibly fucking stupid. From the very first episode the writing just didnt make any sense whatsoever. A fucking night and day difference from the first season which felt original and clever.
