opinions?
It's good.
>>215507144onions?
>>215507144Both To Die For and not to die for.
>>215507144Very good and aesthetic, slightly diminished by pervasive true crime slop
>>215507144Ugly cover, like all Criterion covers.
>>215507144Something I didn't understand in this movie was how Nicole's character made it out like dating that Italian-looking guy was as controversial as dating a black guy, and this was only back in the mid-90s. I guess it was meant to be funny/satirical.
>>215507144Lightweight but good. Buy the 4k. It's one of the Criterions that looks fantastic.
>>215507144Super fucking dogshit film that got infinitely mogged by a low budget TV movie film about the actual crime that the film is based on. Track down the NBC TV film about Pamela Smart starring Helen Hunt instead. Way fucking better.
>>215508380It's a shit true crime film that got mogged by a cheap TV movie version, which actually got the rights to the crime it's about (BPD media class teacher getting her teenage lover to kill her husband) with a pre-fame Helen Hunt.
>>215507144Let guess Nicole has sex with a younger male
>>215507144Kidman is hot in it. Otherwise mediocre flick. Linda Fiorentino mogs as a femme fatale in The Last Seduction.>>215510592>buyLmao, no.
>>215511202Yep. It's basically the story of Pamela Smart, a failed newscaster turned high school teacher who taught a "media" class at a local high school and was in a rapidly disintegrating marriage to a local goody-goody. She used her job at the high school to live out a mid-life crisis as a "queen bee" type and started fucking a wannabe James Dean type troublemaker and using a nerdy fat girl who idolized her to run cover for the affair via being around so no one would ask questions about her spending so much time with a teenager. She eventually started telling lies about the husband being abusive to the teenager she was fucking and then refused to continue to fuck him if he didn't kill said husband. After he did so, the combination of the nerdy fat girl finding out what they did and the piss poor job the wife and boytoy did to cover their tracks after the murder, lead to the two being caught. The film however gives a different ending for Not-Pam Smart. In real life, Pamela Smart's trial was a huge media circus and she got sent to jail for life and Pamela to this day keeps screaming she was railroaded by a "rogue cop" who had it out for her day one, due to misogyny. But her trying to play the misogyny card keeps getting hard rejected because the evidence was overwhelming, especially after her boytoy flipped on her. In the film, Not-Pamela Smart gets arrested but immediately goes on a smear campaign and destroying her husband's name and reputation with help from a high powered lawyer her parents got her. Leading to her in-laws going "fuck it" and hire a hit man to murder her under the guise of her getting a job interview to work in TV before she ever goes to trial and dumping her body in a lake that her sister in law skate dancing on (paying off an earlier line from her dancing on her sister in law's grave due to her never liking Not-Pam), everyone thinking she fled the country, and the boyfriend still madly in love with her.
>>215511363Last Seduction falls apart because it can't decide if Florentino's character is supposed to be a good guy and a bad guy. And the tranny twist is pretty god-awful.
>>215507144>>215511363mid off
>>215511452>And the tranny twist is pretty god-awful.What?
>>215511363Why randomly compare the Last Seduction?>lmao, noEven if you're not crazy about the movie, looks great. Totally worth it if you're not a poorfag.
>>215511452She's evil as fuck but also based and would die for her
>>215511517>Why randomly compare the Last Seduction? Both are femme fatale movies from 94 and 95>Even if you're not crazy about the movie, looks great. Totally worth it if you're not a poorfag. You can download it online for free my nigga.
>>215511473Peter Berg (the poor dupe who gets framed as the fall guy for Florentino's character's crimes) has a running subplot in the film where he is stated to have just moved back to town after leaving for the big city, mainly due to him having married and divorced a chick he met in said big city. And that he refuses to talk about said failed marriage. Florentino finds that the reason Berg refuses to talk about his failed marriage, is that he unknowingly married a tranny and basically beat said tranny nearly to death when he found out on their wedding night. It's also why he fled back to his old home town, as he was afraid the tranny would file assault charges on him, since he never technically divorced the tranny (though by 90s laws the marriage was technically invalid anyway).
>>215511579Kidman is not a femme fatale in To Die For. Another case of zooomers not knowing what words mean.>you can download it for freeYou're downloading movies in 4k?
>>215511452>>215511522I don't see her as evil so much as anti-hero. Bill Pullman basically drives her to break bad to protect herself from him and his abuse and the tranny shit mentioned here >>215511600 is played out as a reveal to show viewers that Berg isn't an innocent dupe but a violent abusive asshole who just did a better job hiding his dark side than Pullman did.
>>215511637>Kidman is not a femme fatale in To Die For.Yes she is.Another case of boomer retard paying $50 for digital files on a disc that you can download for free.
>>215511637Kidman's character in TDF is more of a deconstruction of the femme fatale cliche. She basically thinks she's a hot shit femme fatale and does a lot of stuff that fits the mold. But she's also a narcissist who doesn't fathom that her victim's family would soon as hire someone to put a bullet in her head than allow her to destroy their son's good name in the media and during the trial. She's a femme fatale in a world where people just straight up kill the femme fatale rather than risk them getting away with murder, in terms of promoting vigilante justice against her kind.
>>215507144Good 4k jackoff material. I have a panty fetish, so i can easily cum to all her panty scenes.
>>215511674>>215511637The only reason to pirate TDF is the current era bullshit where Criterion flat out REFUSES to put their shit out as regular DVDs anymore and where 99% of their output are Blu Ray online, which pretty much alienates a huge chunk of their customer base who are perfectly happy who refuse to fall for the Bluray scam to make people have to rebuy all of their movie collections.
>>215511733>panty fetishThat's not a fetish, it's called being heterosexual.
>>215511674>Another case of boomer retard paying $50 for digital files on a disc that you can download for free. It's not same quality as a 4k disc.>>215511728Or it's a just a true crime story about flighty broad, who wasn't a femme fatale. >>215511733Based.
>>215511792>It's not same quality as a 4k disc.I got it here to download in 2 clicks. You bought a plastic cover for $50 dollars.
>>215507144A serviceable film with a hot prime Kidman, unfortunately severely brought down by the Danny Elfman score.
>>215511766It is a fetish when I make compilations of porn where women keep panties on, panty upskirts, panty creeps, cameltoes, panty wetspots, panty centric porn like tawnee stone mycherrycrush and more. I buy her panties too, all worn, all dirty pussy juices, and I huff them while stroking with another pair of panties solely for wrapping on my cock while jacking to panty videos
>>215511862You're watching it on a computer. You're poor.
>>215511792>Or it's a just a true crime story about flighty broad, who wasn't a femme fatale.>muh true storyThe moment it's made into a movie is the moment it ceases to be the same story. But it's useless to try to explain this to you since you are clearly mentally deficient.
>>215511792It's not a true crime story though given that they completely change the entire ending of the IRL story so that she gets a bullet in the head via a hitman hired by her in-laws instead of a long and messy trial and the media rightfully calling her a pedophile tramp who was the first true and honest mainstream heterosexual female pedophile caught fucking her student. It's a deconstruction not a straight up true crime film.
>>215511940To be fair, they actually DID make the IRL story a film, which as others have said in this thread, is a way better film in spite of being Made For TV low budget junk.
>>215511965No one cares.
>>215511936you give money to jews and pay corporations to spy on you. you're retarded.
>>215511913>panty fetishist >tawnee stoneAbsolutely based and Lightspeed Girls pilled
You asked yesterday.

>>215512255Like I said
>>215511936You know you can watch digital media on a normal TV right?
>>215509892Italians aren't white so yeah, it's still pretty controversial. But even more so back then when people openly acknowledged Italians aren't white. It's the same reason why Daniel was such an outcast in the Karate Kid. He wasn't welcome by Johnny and Cobra Kai because he was an Italian kid in a white neighborhood.
>>215507144His best movie
>>215512795Nah dude you need to watch it on a disc on a $500 bluray player or it the digital file isn't the same.
