so which one is more kino/worth watching? the one from the 60s or the 90s?
>>215511154The one from the 90s is pretty good but it's pretty obvious that they were running out of ideas and budget during the final seasons
>>215511154Yes
90s, but I've only seen the first few seasons.60s Outer Limits is very dated, it's not timeless like 60s Twilight Zone
>>215511154Was this the one with the box? If you press it, someone you don't know will die.
>>215511154 early 90's Tales From The Crypt mogs all
>>215511154The 90s one feels like it leans really fucking hard on the real monster is...LE US!!! But maybe that was just the episodes I've seen at random.
>>215511154I some vague memories of a few episodes where some reptile aliens kept kicking humanity's ass.
I had no idea people preferred the 90s one. I just recently watched a lot of the 60s ones. It's no twilight zone but it had moments
>>215513112where do you watch?
>>21551115490s, they show titties
>>215511154They both have their pros and cons. The original series followed a kind of "monster of the week" format, so every episode features some kind of strange alien/monster makeup effects. The Terminator was allegedly loosely based a couple of Outer Limits episodes, and writer Harlan Ellison even took James Cameron to court over it.There's this cheap feeling to the reboot, like the writers would work on scripts inside a prop warehouse and cobble together the episodes based on what was available. Still, there are some fun episoes and even some ongoing storylines over multiple seasons. When the show ran on Showtime, I'm pretty sure they were contractually obligated to feature full frontal female nudity in a percentage of the episodes.
>>215511154I love the old skool show. That was S tier sci-fi tv. The 90s show was a poor continuation.
>>21551115490s
>>215513049Those were some of the best ones. "Quality of Mercy" and "The Light Brigade". It did have lots of good ones and lots of cameos of then unknown actors.
