Robin Curtis should have been Captain on VOY.
>>215511573an Andorian Imperial Guard commander and captain of the Kumari, from Enterprise
>>215511612They should have kept killing the captain of Voyager so there was a different one every season.

>>215511597>Abducted into a ring of fisticuffsWell that's one way to put it
>>215511597God damn season 2 of ENT was so mid
>>215511597only worthwhile thing on this list is Rene being Curzon. i hate in The Deadly Years how Spock let Kirk be fucking humiliated like that. I still haven't watch the movies....in the show their friendship is so lopsided. Kirk does everything with Spock in mind and Spock won't deviate yet from his autism for anything.
>>215511679Imagine the lines at comicon
>>215511686Season 2 of enterprise is actually my favorite season. I liked how each episode was a nice simple bottle episode. Hated that season 3 arc

>>215512061i don't think the Borg even understand the concept of "winning over" desu
>>215511971Based Robin Curtis posterShe made a better Saavik than Kirstie Alley even though everyone says the opposite
>>215512147Yeah , I'm always baffled by how people prefer Kirstie. Robin utterly wins that contest.

>>215512185My brain agrees with you, but my heart says Hoshi.
>>215512243i like Hoshi too but the thing is it's just that Malcom got the most like, character development that hit and he got stuff to do that was actually interesting. I dunno what was going on with this show but the main cast is so weak and boring. Hoshi not wanting to be there and gradually getting into it was a good thing but they kind of just let her fizzle out after that
>>215512236
>>215512282Yes, hence the brain vs. heart split. I agree with everything you said, but Hoshi I just want to PROTECC

oh well end of comfy ent the start of post 9/11 ent
Neelix is like Lower Decks. He's not bad for what he is but I'm not at all into what he is, and I think he has no reason to exist in the first place. The character (and the show) are just bad ideas that never should've been greenlit. The difference is that Neelix is a part of a greater whole which I do like and appreciate, so I will watch his episodes and can appreciate them. Even if I skipped his episodes, he plays a part in other episodes I do like. So, enjoying VOY, I eventually come to accept Neelix. Whereas Lower Decks, I can just avoid altogether because I have no interest.

>>215525202No, not really:>At the Creation 40th Anniversary Star Trek convention, there was a 51% male, 49% female representation for the general admission seats. This is no surprise since women have played a major role in the history of Star Trek conventions. And that was back before the modern feminization of most media, especially genre media.
>>215525337Yea in your dreams Mike
>>215525422You know nutrek has done great harm to this storied franchise.
>>215525409TV is written from womens' perspectives about womens' needs because women are the ones watching ads and buying the products advertised. Men are either watching sports or playing video games.

>>215513111That's Captain Leo Walsh, bro.
>>215525495Well, today I learned it's decently easy to get laid at Star Trek conventions just by playing the odds
>>215525538That's the spin after a successful culture war. "Men no longer watch TV and movies. Men no longer read. Better focus even more on women." At the rate things are going in western gaming it will be "Men no longer play games" in a couple years too.
>>215525632They're already lying about 50% of gamers being women because they play Candy Crush on their lunch break. That was their excuse for taking sex appeal out of Western games. "Half our players are women. They don't want to see that."
>>215518420>So without looking it up the actress got herself preggers?Haha, Damar cucked Tom Paris!
>TNG S2 finale is.....a series of clips from previous episodesReally?
>>215525808They ran out of money and there was a writers strike. You could see the wheels falling off if you were paying attention. Episodes like The Royale and Peak Performance were cobbled together from leftover scraps.
>>215525564How would that be possible if the romulans were isolationists for so long?
>>215525968Excuse me?
>>215525564None of which made it to screen.
>>215525857And yet they became trekcore episodes.
>>215525604I'd believe it. My wife loathes science fiction, but watched more DS9 with me in my first watch through than any other show. Ladies love characterization & serialization. She thinks TNG is lame & TOS is too corny for her.
>>215525857The Royale is so great, just a nice modern look at the whole "lost astronaut found by an advanced civilization" plot that had already been around a long time at that point.
>>215525106Why should Trekkies care about what a rapist says?

I have to say I really like Shatner's preformance in og trek. had this great playful but professional thing about him. though sometimes he overacted during the "I am telling you the theme for this episode" scenes. WHich even still has a fun cheese factor. But really, that playful professionalism playing off Spock's logical autism and Bone's gruff old man thing is great.
>>215525808much like the menagerie there are a fair number of new scenes. first 2 seasons of TNG are better than any subsequent season of star trek.

>Yes. But the Kommandant is a fool. He doesn't understand. He's never embraced the Fuhrer or his vision. One does not cooperate with decadent forms of life. One hunts them down and eliminates them. The Kommandant speaks of civilization. The ancient Romans were civilized. The Jews are civilized. But in all its moral decay, Rome fell to the spears of our ancestors, as the Jews are falling now. Look at our destiny. (the flag behind the bar) The field of red, the purity of German blood. The blazing white circle of the sun that sanctified that blood. No one can deny us, no power on Earth or beyond. Not the Christian Savior, not the God of the Jews. We are driven by the very force that gives life to the universe itself. We must countermand the Kommandant's orders, stay and fight. We must be faithful to who we are.
>>215532183I know much about trek. More than you I’d reckon. Prove me wrong: you can’t
>>215524748Apparently he was so good at what he did for her that she couldn't let him go.
>>215532227I also liked him as the borg that somehow incorporated the holoemitter’s future tech and soloed a sphere for shits
>>215525396Agreed
>>215511472He didn’t want keiko to do the 10 week botany mission on bajor though…she wanted to. Keiko is an awful woman. She shit tested him as a 12 year old.

>>215530506Like that guy in Voyager who was falsely accused of raping Seven
>>215532515He was accused of stealing nanoprobes as a euphemism for rape. Get it straight
>>215532102I wonder if she squeals and cries
>>215531486>Thinks all Germans look like Colonel Klink or Fearless Leader
>>215532550Rape is rape, grape ape
>>215532728There was never any mention of sexual impropriety, he was accused of knocking her unconscious to steal nanoprobes from her. You’re projecting and it’s awkward
>>215532728>You don't die yet. You're not human, but you're very beautiful. Very beautiful.

>>215532861And how did he allegedly steal the nanoprobes? By penetration.
