Do you think AI has potential to change film making for the better?
>>
Every time something came up to make film making simpler/easier things only went for the worse like when practical effects changed to CGI everywhere
So no

Imagine showing this to someone 50 years ago

It's unreal how quickly CGI ages, you rewatch stuff from 2017 and it looks like ass while real sets and miniatures from 2000 still look fine
>>
is there an archive of all these nightmare AI videos
>>
>>215513678
i hate it when that happens

Except there's plenty of amazing cgi that still looks fantastic. That was expensive though. They've cheapened out on cgi hard and now it ages worse than milk

I would probably lose my mind watching shit like this when I used to smoke

Yes but the people building it and the people running it and the people using it will ensure it makes everything worse.

it can at least de-age people better than the irishman filter

I think if used correctly, yes.

Unfortunately the main problem comes in when people become lazy and start using it as a crutch rather than a tool, but that's just for all AI in general. Generative, algorithmic, etc. I think that's why you hear a lot of people on the internet talk about how AI is bad (although a couple of the takes I heard about it are retarded social justice warrior bs)
