Did this tv show actually glorify nazis to some small degree?

Umm, wow?

nazi's are uber-cool and I'm tired of pretending their not.

I remember watching the first couple seasons and when they showed the Greater Nazi Reich, I remember thinking
>Am I not supposed to like this? This seems great.
>>
>>215514354
Kinda? Not really. If any thing it humanized them which is a big no no in current year.
>>
>dress your military well
>it makes it impossible to portray them in media without them looking awesome
Honestly, it's a flawless plan.

>dude magic lol
Talk about a letdown.

Red, white and black is the greatest color combination known to man. It’s so striking.
>>
>people inside Nazi Germany and Japan doing their best to avoid WWIII
>Hitler let that dude give the Japanese the nuclear secrets
>Trade Minister and Inspector Kido giving Obergruppenfuhrer Smith the film of the hydrogen bomb
>Himmler saving the world from a nuclear war and purging Heusmann
>the resistance is bunch of faggots getting used by the bad nazis to fuck with Japan
Season 2 was so kino, then season 3 happened.

Show was gay as fuck. But Nazis on here have an excuse to support their views by claiming to only enjoy the show

I never really sat down and watched the show, but I have understood through osmosis that it has a lot of fictional political drama, resistance fighters, and a pararrel reality macguffin plot line.
Did they have any sort of a lite version of John Smith, like a regular lower-middle-class collaborator?
If they did, they should have shown them dealing with DAF bullshit, like them spending all their funds on a running track around the factory when the workers wanted better hours. Or have a Kraft Durch Freude vacation that got hyped up to be something like a cruise, but then they just got a bus ride to take a hike in Ohio or something.
They should have also had a neighbour who hated them and tried to get them cancelled and SWATted with Gestapo.

If all the bad stuff happens only to minorities and a couple of high ranking dudes who got killed in John Smith's political drama plot, you'll be thinking
"Okay, so if I lived there, those two things wouldn't apply to me since I'm a white real life background character, but I wouldn't have student debt, and I could probably afford my own house while working at an easy assembly line job. I think the show is saying that Nazism isn't that bad."

How did Villenueve not cast this guy to play Duke Leto?

Decapitation scene with Kido was proper kino.
