Wasn't it "Interview with A Vampire" not "The Vampire"? I know what the fucking poster reads, but why can't most people come to a consensus? Are there just a lot of schizophrenic cinephiles?
>>
Oh cool! is this a /tv/ thread?
>>

Who gives a fuck anymore? Objective truth died a hobo's death years ago and now all that matters is the next SLAM from someone I like onto someone you don't.
>>
>>215515188
the reboot should have been called interview with da vampire
>>
It was *The* Vampire, who gives a fuck about an interview with any old vampire
>>
>>215515188
Anne Rice's vampires are probably the most balanced/thought out in terms of pros/cons.
>>
>>215515246
The reboot on BET network maybe
>>
>>215515265
It was gonna get super weird. Thank fuck she died when she did, although I don't know if her son will continue the series, and by all accounts he was the one that made it weird.
>>
>>215515242
Objective facts don't matter when you can just dunk on the nerd and overpower him
>>
>>215515188
ridiculous to think it would be 'a'.
>'But there are multiple'
Not relevant, it's about familiarity.

The weak should fear the strong.

This any good? Or should I ask, any better than the other Anne Rice shows?

Was always 'The' instead of 'A', but 'A Vampire' just sounds better and rolls off the tongue. there's a youtube video of a bunch of old interviews/footage during it's release...and even the actors and author refer to it as 'With A Vampire', while the graphics and actual book say 'The'
>>

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was
>>
It was "The Interview with a Vampire" actually
>>
>>215515301
>he doesn't know they made a series with a black vampire
>>
>>215515546
Oh okay, probably would've been better off not knowing anything at all after doing a little digging on that. Thanks though

>MPAA rating: R
i had weird childhood. 8 years old, loved Eddie Murphy since my dad had Beverly Hills Cop on VHS...saw an ad for this on TV and insisted he take me to see it...and he did? wtf dad
>>
>>215515188
"Interview with a vampire" just sounds better. It's not the Mandela effect it's just your brain fixing a slightly less good title.
>>215515485
Beat me to it.

Outside of Nikki I don't remember anything that fucked up about the movie. Maybe Julius dick falling off.

i don't remember too much about it to be honest other than the makeup effects/gore were more than i was expecting i think
>>
>>215516081
Sounds dope even if the movie was shit. My dad just hated wasting his time with bad movies so he would just buy a ticket for a different movie while the rest of my family watched slop

I remember my parents, my dad, took us to see From Dusk til Dawn. Honestly the implied rape went right over my head, And my parents cursed so that wasn't a huge deal up until this point.

And my mom just dragged us out like on the spot.

I remember watching Robocop on cable TV when I was like 7 years old and being horrified by the scene where toxic waste infected Emil gets splattered by the van. My mom basically told me to stop being a pussy. Also the bunny boiling scene in Fatal Attraction

You're the schizo. It's a COVEN of femmy vampires, there's no "a"
