Netflix put all their moneys on this show and I have never heard anyone talk about it since the releaseWas it biggest flop in Netflix history?
I think about it Anon... and really liked it ... :DSoft disclosure for 3i/atlas coming to own us.
>>215518211Why bother when there was already another adaption better than Netflix could possibly make.
>>215518631I actually fell for this shit and watched that shitty ass ccp slop.
>>215518631> betterNah it sucks.Tbh the source material also not so great. It is this sf trope: what if we contact aliens but they are le different. But author is not Lem so he cant really write Solaris.
>>215518211the jewish problem
I liked the books. The Chinese series was a little too slow but probably better than the Netflix series. I don't know why both series are taking so many years for a second season though.
It’s a supreme midwit show. If you’re actually into theoretical physics then you already know about the actual three body problem, human computers, and the Orion Project. It’s like several hours of watching characters discuss how the speed of light is too slow to get where they’re trying to go in a reasonable time, and then the solution is one of the characters folds a piece of paper in half and puts a pencil through it. That’s it, that’s the show. If you’re a midwit learning about these concepts for the first time it’s impressive, if you’re into sci-fi it’s like watching a show for toddlers
Book 2 has a character with an imaginary waifu as a major plot point. If they really care about representation they will reproduce this faithfully.
