this has to be the most underrated burton flick
>>215520149Frankenweenie
>>215520149Superior poster
>>215520149It’s enjoyable. There is a drag near the end of the second act that makes you feel like not rewatching it.It’s hard to explai, but you just know there is going to be some silly slog to get through
>>215520149I loved it as a kid, watched it recently and it's still amazing however, it's a bit too fast-paced for my taste. The movie moves a lot faster than I remembered, could really use even just like 10 minutes more to breathe here and there
The tagline does not lie, there are in fact a great deal of heads chopped off.
Last bit of Burton kino before whatever the hell fucked his brain in the 2000s and he went Hollywood junk for 95% of the time except brief returns to form. He had really been on fire from the 80s to 90s.
>>215520455ehh i mean big fish came right after this and i think thats a legit 10/10
>>215520455What. Both Sweeny Todd and Corpse Bride came many years after Sleepy Hollow.
>>215520592Brief returns to form. Planet of the Apes marked a clear turning point for him.
>>215520149Ed Wood
>>215520149I would say Sweeney Todd, everyone shat on it when it came out but I really liked it
>>215520556Big Fish is great, I think Spielberg was originally supposed to direct and Burton was a last minute replacement. All's well that ends well
Big Fish made me weep like a baby
