So over 6000 people were told a secret (Freys, Boltons and Karstark men) and not ONE tried to spill their guts? Like all 6000 men were down to murder their own men that they probably fought alongside of and marched and lived with for over 18 months. All 6000 men said fuck it, that auburn haired boy we were calling Aegon the Conqueror and cheering King of the North and Trident for like half a year ago, we gonna butcher him.

True.
There would at least have been one low-ranking Frey who would have spilled the beans in hopes of getting a reward from Robb.

why would they do that? only a handful of people would know until near the date. the common troops would only be told before it happens

>Make audience believe a heroic character is going to do something heroic
>mehgalolz no they just die, this aint no fairy tale
>rinse and repeat until you get a TV deal, then sit back and let the showrunners take the heat for all empty mystery boxes you'd been stringing the audience along with
>make gorillions while still stringing audiences along with a 'proper' ending they will never get
bravo george

So? When they're told doesn't matter, the fact is every single Frey is shown to be gleefully in on it down to a man. There isn't one who goes to Robb's side to cut a deal for money or power (Walder is going to betray you - kill him and help make me king of the Freys and I will support you!), there isn't one Frey who developed a friendship or esprit de corps with the northerners during the war and warns his friends, there isn't one who feels a religious or moral revulsion at being told they're going to violate one of the most sacred taboos which will damn their house and turn them into pariahs. Nope, every single Frey is told "Oh, we're betraying Robb in a week/in a day/in an hour be ready to kill all the northerners" and every single one of them is all "Yep, that sounds good to me, I'm a cartoon villain that has no problem with that but also I'm moral and loyal enough to my liege that I won't make a play for myself by going to the northerners for a better deal".

GRRM fucking sucks at writing. He doesn't understand what people are in the slightest, which is ironic since he and his fans claim ASOIAF's main selling point is how "realistic" it is compared to other fantasies.

...You do realize that that's kinda how wars work? First we fought with the Soviets and now we fight against them and that's just how it is because some guy above me says so.

>>215520705
Shut the fuck up, pidoras. Your people are fucking subhuman and the world would be better off with you wiped off the face of the earth.

Oh, that’s just superstition!

Self-solving problem.
Big part of brainwash/mind control is hypnosis and inducing amnesia and implanting false memories.
Guess what they were studying.
Guess what they did to all the staff and personnel afterward.
As far as they know they all attended a team building exercise that was uneventful and can't totally recall lol

bannermen are loyal to their bannerlord first

it's not a fairytale where everyone loves the king. it's all personal interests an' shiet

No, you dumb faggot. Foot soldiers aren't told the entire battleplan because they only need to follow the orders when given to them.

That explains how two dudes that clearly didn't belong in the Shire were able to just move in and turn it into a dump for a while.
