I saw it when it was new. It was good.
>>215521896Such incredible trash. But frankly I'm still salty about Michael Keaton not winning best actor for Birdman while it was sweeping. Instead it was given to some twink playing a cripple.Definitely top five performance of this century
>>215521995The academy is just retarded dude. Literal popularity contest and the largest voting body are actors so always expect the most brainlet result
the oscars have not been relevant since return of the king. didn't fury road also lose the oscar lol. to what? does anyone even remember? of course not.
>>215521910That's a sufficient amount of times.t. seen it once
It was alright, there weren't really any great movies that year
>>215522183banshees
>no futa dimensionthey half measured it with all the dildo stuff.
The concept of the movie made me think of cheat codes in video games. Like in GTA3 for example, when you put in a code, but you see the main guy looking in random directions, punch the air or something, then suddenly he has a full arsenal of guns. Or those obtuse methods for cheats in old games that are like, "Go here, crouch for 3 seconds, go over here, drink a red potion, then go over here and jump 2 times." and you unlock god mode or something.
>>215522160>fury road also lose the oscar lol. to what? does anyone even remember? of course not.I thought I knew, double checked and was right. Fucking Spotlight. A half-decent drama that could've easily been a made for tv mini-series if it was a little longer. It's probably the 5th-6th best movie from the nominees. The Oscars seems determined to give Best Picture to the most forgettable films possible. The flick from OP is perfect example which had at least four more deserving films nominated in its year.

>>215521896Worst movie to ever win an Oscar, let alone seven. It really just a weird script made for foreigners, Hollywood briefly wanted to fellate the chinese, before they realized growing big there meant losing any cultural foothold they have left on the west.
>>215522279I still think it's better than Shape of Water but can't think of any other best picture winners that I think are worse.
>>215522381Did Crash win best picture? Because if so, Crash
>>215521896Oscars are worthless.
