>>215522910If you play it in secret and let yourself enjoy it, yes. Decent characters, decent character growth, vibrant 2000s island setting, amazing OST. The voice acting gets memed on but it's actually good, the problem is they made the people talk to match the lip flaps which results in some stilted line deliveries. Game mechanics are fun and simple, and there's plenty of optional content to dig into. Plot is generic saving the world jprg, but it's still the most memorable of the ones I've played just thanks to the cast and setting. It's also very redpilled about (((organized death cult religions))) without being agenda pushing or in your face.HD remake was a demake, original PS2 had facial animations and better animated models.

I loved FFX but I would absolutely never watch a movie or TV show adaptation of it. It would be so shit. Plus you know they'd fuck up the casting so hard. They'd get some mutt to play Yuna, some black girl with no tits to play Lulu and also change her costume. Probably the only white or Asian guys in the show would be Seymour and the other Guado.
