I marathon'd the first 40 or so minutes yesterday. Gonna watch another half hour or so today if I find the time. So far I like it. The mystery is interesting.

It was just boring, usually I feel like I'm fairly accepting of when something didn't work for and I can see why it may have for others, but I don't see how this movie was supposed to be creepy or fun, aside from maybe the cop/junkie sequence. It was just thoroughly mediocre throughout until the villain was introduced and it began to be just bad.

I love how a movie this simple and straightforward can still filter so many people.This is why movies need to be generic, simple and stupid. You go just a centimeter outside of the bogstandard usual THE REAL MONSTER WAS TRAUMA/LE GORE AND CHAINSAWS and people are just confused and angry about it.
