I watched this episode twice and felt it says regret about Columbine Shooting. The regret is so great that they re-enacted it not once but twice, and kept one of the two shooters alive to say he is sorry in jail.
The episode is kinda forced and outdated about school shooting but I feel their sincerity about Columbine.

It didn't. I think the whole style of the episode is to not glorify the shooters or even the SWAT. Like everyone is humbled.
