This. MCU and most of Hollywood for the past two decades has just been pumping out the most formulaic, samey "safe" garbage. Might give someone a thrill or two in the moment but with zero staying power.
Now compare it to these films - yes, even Morbius. They put normgroids off because they're bizarre compared to the norm, but they'll be remembered because they're bizarre compared to the norm.

Fuking trvke. No one reminds scenes from mcu films or from the formulaic slops but morbius is still being talked about and it has scenes like the one of matt dancing. These movies have chad energy, when they enter and leave the room people will remember the event and will keep talking about it. I find these funky movies and the impact they have on people fascinating.
