Love is the one thing heckin science can't explain
Yes, it was a very ham-fisted scene but the director thought it necessary as it set up the later discovery that the love/connection between Cooper and his daughter was what allowed Cooper to reach her through space-time and deliver the message that helps Murph save humanity. Otherwise the future nu-humans would've just solved it on their own. Don't look too hard at it, it's just another variation on the age-old 'love conquers all' theme that people love in their stories.

>>215534581Science unironically has no explanation for why we have the sensation of experiencing reality or emotionsCold lifeless protons, neutrons and electrons collect into a ball of mass that proclaims it “feels love” - science can’t explain that!
>>215534814I love gay frogs

>this movie was so bad in every sense and normies loved it. Horrible script, horrible characters.>You just have shit taste>What values does the film convey? What is the lesson of the film? What new concepts does it contain? How does the story make sense? One "lesson" I suppose, could be addressed to the scientific community, and that is to adopt love of mankind and humility as guiding principles. Science cannot inform morality. The fact that the characters had a humility to them and weren't authoritarian leaning is important to note, especially in the current climate. >values Family values for a start, the importance of love. Love, in conjunction with bravery, self-sacrifice and human excellence can accomplish unimaginable triumphs. >What new concepts does it contain? If you're a Trekkie or have read dozens of sci-fi books with tons of different concepts then you probably wont see it as 100% original, even though the people involved published scientific papers as a result of their work on the film. This is the first time you see a scientifically accurate black hole on screen so they pushed the envelope on that front. The film contains a story with advanced beings outside of time, a black hole, a wormhole, love and gravity as transcendental forces, a very long time travel loop where a species saves itself, through a tesseract, communicating, dare I utter the word, spiritually. For me all that's new. If you believe in God you know he's described as infinite light and love, so the film in its agnostic presentation still hints at a higher plane in the very least, and the beings that inhabit it understand 'love' far better than mankind does, otherwise their plan with the wormhole would've failed. But if in somebody's worldview there's only matter then the story will make sense until it doesn't. Granted, there's still lots of mystery and unanswered questions, as there should be.

It had nothing to do with cinematography you damned autists.Maybe non empaths just can't be considered humans anymore. You're functionally robots.>>215534581She is cringely romantic, sure, but she is unknowingly referring to the quantum synchronicity that occurs when sentient beings interact with one another. It is scientifically demonstrable but most of you cannot even comprehend that inertia is gravity so it, as well as the movie, unfortunately remain beyond you for now
>>215539851Post the q synchronicity papers anon, I'm interested
>>215539851The entirety of the film was heavyhanded melodrama and then it's an abrupt, awkward ending. It's poor filmmaking and you have shit taste
